We were so happy with out first experience at Urban Rustic a few years ago, that we went back to them when we bought a new house! Laura understood right away the look we were going for and was a pleasure to work with because she understands the demands of a busy household with children. Tary, Maxine and Kelly have been fantastic to work with on our cottage design project. Within a matter of days from our first meeting they were able to present us with a layout and design options that kept our own personal wish list in mind while keeping an eye on the budget, an important aspect that often gets ignored when trying to achieve a particular look or feel to the design. From the start they broke down the process into manageable portions so as not to overwhelm us with the vast number of decisions that are required when furnishing an entire cottage, and they guided us through each stage at the right time and pace. In addition to the beautiful furniture, lighting and accessories they have on display in their stores, they also have access to a wide range of other products and manufacturers that they draw from to complete their design plan. Overall, the layout and options they presented were completely suited to our family’s needs and wishes, and whenever we requested changes during the process they quickly regrouped and presented alternative choices that worked perfectly for us. Tary and Maxine constantly made themselves available to respond to questions or changes, often working into the late evenings to research and communicate ideas or alternative options to fit our requests. For an entire cottage project that was initially overwhelming to deal with, even with the help of designers, they managed to pull everything together to deliver a look and feel that married our own design choices but elevated the end result with their expertise and design sense. We are thrilled with the end result they helped us to achieve. We would work with Tary, Max and Kelly again on any project given the experience we had on our project, and we would have no hesitation referring them to anyone, whether it’s to design an entire house or just picking out that one special item.

I asked for Tary's and team help in decorating a renovated cottage. I indicated my budget and what it needs to cover and Tary and her team worked on selection, pricing, delivery, and arrangement of furniture. I think that there is a wide selection of quality furniture and decorating articles that would satisfy small and large projects. We selected Tary because we wanted a modern-sophisticated yet rustic look, and after the initial design and consultative phase, we ended up with the articles we purchased delivered on premise, on time. This is a wonderful place to shop - nicely designed and the design consultants, owners are warm and welcoming. The designers are skilled and creative - have always been happy with thier work - all staff certainly model the best in client 'centeredness'. First started shopping in 2009 - and continue to do so to the present time.
